ADAM GRAY / ColumnistI'm 21 years old and have been looking for the opportunity to write football articles to get them published and I see this as a good opportunity. I follow the sport with a keen interest across all levels. I support Crewe Alexandra so I'm a keen follower of the lower leagues and have an in depth knowledge with my particular interest being tactics and the nuances of the game.
I have completed a degree in Journalism and English so I have experience of producing pieces of creative writing so I believe I am well equipped to write. DEAN MEARS / ColumnistI am the author of Football Weekly, which is a column designed to make football fans get angry. 20-year-old Sports Journalism student and Chelsea season ticket holder. I also run the website Finding Row Z. Feel free to post your responses on every Football Weekly column.
JACK SUMNER / ColumnistI'm Jack Sumner, a 22 year old Creative Writing & Journalism graduate from Chester University. I harbour ambitions of eventually becoming a successful sports journalist. I'm passionate about a variety of sports, but I love football inparticular - ever since I was a kid running around with a ball pretending to be my favourite players, I've been fascinated by all aspects of the game!
I'm a lifelong Liverpool fan but I follow football from many leagues, taking an interest in the weekly happenings of the Football League and also the best action the continent has to offer with the likes of La Liga and Serie A. ALDO JONES / Supporting AuthorI'm a young and aspiring sports writer. I could be what be described as a football addict and am happy whenever there is a football game on whatever the leaguee and whoever maybe be playing.I have my own site Thirty Yard Screamer where me and a several other writers share about the great game we call football. I'm on twitter, and I always have to have a debate and discuss anything football related
STEFAN KELLY / Supporting AuthorA young aspirational writer just starting off. My particular interests include Arsenal and South American football in general. Brazilian football is a significant part of my writing and I try to expand my knowledge beyond the well publicised teams. Based in Dublin, Ireland
BARRY LANDY / Supporting AuthorI am a Sports Journalism student at Staffordshire University, currently entering my second year of study. I co-founded Down In The Box in 2009 and have since then been publishing regular columns on International football, the English Premier and Football Leagues, European competition and football politics.
My work has appeared on blogs such as Back Page Football and The Elastico and I have interviewed Lou Macari, Ronnie Whelan and Geoff Horsfield among others as part of my blogging and studies. I put a particular emphasis on the Republic of Ireland in my blogs and have blogged in depth on the national team and it's various youth teams. ROSS MACKIEWICZ / Supporting AuthorThe summer of 1996, England were hosting the European Championships and Alan Shearer thumped a header past Andy Goram in the Scotland goal to send Wembley into raptures. Watching those images unfold as a child from a television set infected me with the football bug and I have not looked back since.I am an avid supporter of my beloved Aston Villa and have held a season ticket there for as long as I can remember.
I studied Media and Communication for the past four years and recently graduated from Birmingham City University. It is my dream to become a renowned & respected football journalist and I write for a number of reputable sites including Soccerlens. I have written for the likes of Football-Talk, RedRants, In Bed With Maradona and Goal.com. My favourite club is Spurs and I've been a lifelong fan (well since 1981, so most of my life!) I love to chat about and debate football issues and get my opinion across in my articles. LOUIE SILVANI / Supporting AuthorI'm Louie Silvani, a 16 year old blogger and massive Wolverhampton Wanderers fan from London. It's not always easy being a Wolves fan in London, but I enjoy it and like to think that it makes me more knowledgable about football as a whole. As I have to be, being a Wolves fan, I follow relegation scraps closely and find them much more exciting than the title race (it's usually a lot closer and more fought for) but I enjoy all aspects of football, as any football fanatic would do.
BILL WEST / Supporting AuthorI am studying Sports Journalism at UCA in Farnham, Surrey. I have just passed my first year and start my second year in September 2011. I support West Ham and used to be a season ticket holder from 2000 until 2008. During the past year I have attended matches at Farnborough and Aldershot, and have worked in the press areas there.
